![]() ![]() I think the issue is it turns into a dumb midi controller once you leave the NI domain, but i guess Logic Smart controls will cover that deficit, if you map to those. Personally, i'd wait and see what the reports are of the Komplete running in Logic Pro X, a friend of mine has the larger Komplete keyboards and i isn't impressed with Logic plugins and third party integration at all, but says with Maschine it's brilliant. Not sure if that's on the keyboard itself or within software though? I'm presuming hardware. However, the 'A' range that NI are putting out really does have added value, not just with the plugins/library you get, but the scale and arp modes sound interesting too. ![]() ![]() I really like the Nektar products and the LX+ range is really good for the money. Its hard to ignore their quality and massive usage areas. I was also sceptic for many years regarding NI software (except Kontakt which is amazing) but after you try NI software with the Kontrol, Maschine or other controller you see the power and potential. And has a motorized fader, you can even step sequence Bitwig from the keyboard which is neat.īut for overall usage and since you use Logic my recommendation would be the Komplete Kontrol. The Nektar P6 is also close to heart since its so deeply integrated with Bitwig Studio (i use both Logic and Bitwig). You can switch between controlling Logic and Komplete Kontrol software with a button. The keybed on the Kontrol 61 mk2 is actually very nice and the rotary encoders are very responsive to work with. Though it had other problems with the rotary encoders, so I dont use it in production. ![]() Of course its up to taste but I found the keybed best on my older Axiom Air 61. Hi, I own both the Komplete Kontrol mk2 and Nektar Panorama P6. ![]()
